Intelligence Base Ribbon Cutting with 1819 Leadership

December 09 2019

Kingsgate’s Director of Communications here checking in for another blog takeover. As you’ve likely seen by now, Kingsgate Logistics opened our second satellite office – the Intelligence Base – at the University of Cincinnati’s 1819 Innovation Hub this past July. In just five months, we’ve seen our partnership with the university grow tremendously, with innumerous opportunities to partner with current students and our fellow tenants at the Hub.

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming University of Cincinnati leadership and other Kingsgate partners to the Intelligence Base for our official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. We were honored to have UC President Neville Pinto and Chief Innovation Officer David Adams speak to the importance of emerging technology and innovation in the logistics industry. They also touched on the importance of companies like Kingsgate getting involved at the university level to provide opportunities for students and retain talent in the greater Cincinnati region. Kingsgate Owning Partner Jeff Beckham also spoke to the crowd and elaborated on what the future of logistics looks like, as well as what we hope to accomplish with this new partnership. Take a look at the highlights:

Through utilizing our connections and resources at 1819, Kingsgate will provide opportunities for UC students and future graduates to learn, grow and become innovative leaders through classroom involvement, co-op and internship opportunities, post-grad opportunities and more. Kingsgate will continue using the resources and connections provided through the 1819 space to push for innovative and cutting-edge solutions in the logistics industry.

We’d like to thank all everyone who came out to support Kingsgate and look forward to seeing what comes from this exciting partnership with UC!

All the Best,

Rian Beckham
