Kingsgate Logistics Named Family-Owned Business of the Year in Dayton
November 08 2019Dayton, OH – Last night, the Dayton Business Journal named Kingsgate Logistics as the 2019 Family-Owned Business of the Year. Kingsgate, a strategic third-party logistics provider, is thrilled to receive this award and excited to be named as the best in business in the region. This is the third time Kingsgate has attended the Business of the Year awards, being named a finalist for the Family-Owned Business of the Year in 2018 and winning the Women-Owned Business of the Year in 2017.
Kingsgate fosters an environment where employees look forward to coming into work each day in what, at times, can be a difficult industry. The company strives to make both employees and customers feel like family. Kingsgate founders Merry and Tom Beckham knew the importance of integrity, honesty and transparency in the logistics industry, values that are still engrained in the company culture to this day.
Over the past four years, Kingsgate has quadrupled in size and is looking forward to continuing to spread their reach throughout the region. Kingsgate recently expanded at its West Chester headquarters, as well as opened two satellite offices in Dayton at Austin Landing and at the University of Cincinnati’s 1819 Innovation Hub.
Kingsgate is honored to receive this recognition, and would like to thank their employees, customers and carriers for helping the business reach this success. Additionally, the company would like to extend congratulations to all the other businesses honored last night.
