Giving Back to Honor Martin Luther King Jr.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the 2020 celebration is the 25th anniversary of the holiday that honors the civil rights leader’s life and legacy. This is the only federal holiday that encourages all Americans to volunteer, give back and improve the communities they live in. As I’ve mentioned multiples times on the blog, our Kingsgate Gives Back program is a huge part of keeping our founders’ (my parents’) legacy alive. In particular, Kingsgate looks for ways that our employees can contribute to causes in which they are personally invested.
