KINGSGATE LOGISTICS ANNOUNCES JAY MURNEN AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

WEST CHESTER, OH –Kingsgate Logistics (formerly Kingsgate Transportation), a family-owned third-party logistics company, continues to add to its executive leadership team by adding Jay Murnen as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Murnen will be working closely with Kingsgate’s ownership team and will oversee the company’s financial planning and reporting, accounting, tax, and treasury functions.

Mr. Murnen brings valuable experience in Financial Operations as both a CPA and former CFO in industry.  He has a proven track record and reputation for aligning people and resources to advance organizations and drive economic growth.  Combined with his intimate knowledge of Kingsgate’s internal operations, Murnen brings a sincere appreciation for Kingsgate and its position as a market leader.

Murnen, a graduate of Miami University, was most recently a Manager with Clark Schafer and Hackett, Kingsgate’s accounting firm, and has worked with Kingsgate as an Outsourced CFO for the better part of the last two years.
